Santa Barbara Mission
Founded by Spanish Francisans in 1786, the Mission has a rich and diverse history. Part of twenty one Missions constructed during that era, now more than 200 years later the Santa Barbara Mission includes ten acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, a historic cemetery and mausoleum, and a museum and gift shop.
In the heart of the Santa Barbara wine country this small town is known as “The Danish Capital of America.” The buildings and homes reflect traditional Danish style and the numerous restaurants, bars and shops offer a taste of all things Danish. Here you’ll enjoy their signature pastry, an Almond Custard Kringle.
A beautiful waterfront community Monterey is home to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Right outside the Aquarium doors is Cannery Row, inspiration for Steinbeck’s famed book of the same name.
Home to San Francisco’s colorful fishing fleet for centuries this is the place to take an iconic cable car, dig into a huge plate of Dungeness crab and soak in all the history of this great San Francisco landmark.
Golden Gate Bridge
One of the world’s most breathtaking bridges, the towers, cables and Art Deco styling makes this one of the world’s most recognizable attractions. Bridge Plaza, located on the south end of the bridge is the all new interactive visitors center.
Across the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito is a town with a great Mediterranean flair! Take a Wooden Boat tour and the Bay Area Discovery Museum, is a naturally recognized indoor/outdoor family museum. The breathtaking coastal views, fresh of the boats seafood and unique shopping make this town a must see.
Home to the famed Hearst Castle home, the estate boasts a main home that has over 68,000 square feet, three separate guest homes, and two huge pools. In addition there are numerous gardens to explore, the Hearst Castle Theater, a gift and museum shop and several dining options.

Home of the famous and the quirky. Hollywood is the place to go to pay homage to your favorite stars. Tour buses venture into nearby Beverly Hills home to the wealthy and famous. Grab your camera and get some great shots of the HOLLYWOOD sign. Stop by Grauman’s Chinese Theater and see hand prints of beloved stars, both past and present.
San Juan Capistrano
Probably one of the best examples of Spanish architecture, this Mission is world famous for the annual migration of cliff swallows that migrate yearly from Argentina. Tours are available for the ruins of the Great Stone Church built in 1797. The nearby los Rios Historic District has interesting and unique galleries and antique shops.
San Diego Zoo
Full of exhibits, shops, shows, activities, dining and oh yea, animals too! Many of the exhibits are designed so that the animals can be seen and experienced in their natural habitat. Make sure you book a ride on the Skyfari, an overhead gondola ride that allows you a birds eye view of the entire park!
