DAY 1 – Begin your tour of America’s Canyonlands by flying into Phoenix where you’ll meet your GNT tour manager and travel to your hotel in Sedona, Arizona. Enjoy a western welcome dinner this evening as you wind down from your day of travel.

DAY 2 – This morning you’ll embark on an exhilarating adventure with Pink Jeep Tours of Sedona with the option of Tram transportation. Travel across the breathtaking desert landscape in an open-air vehicle, and take in the endless views of Sedona’s impressive red rock formations as your guide enlightens you on the history of the area. Visit famous landmarks such as the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Cathedral Rock, and Airport Mesa – it’s one scenic overlook after another, each offering staggering views of the jagged red peaks, vast plains, and river streams that make up this region. After your tour, take some time to browse the unique shops, art galleries and restaurants in Uptown Sedona before departing for your next destination. Enjoy the splendors of nature as you travel through scenic Oak Creek Canyon & Kaibab National Forest, and finally, arrive in the incredible Grand Canyon National Park.  Later that day, you will check into your hotel for a two night stay in the park.

DAY 3 – Enjoy a full day to explore the South Rim of Grand Canyon National park at your leisure. Carved out by the Colorado River over the course of six million years, the Grand Canyon is the most spectacular gorge in the world. Its vastness is stunning, its insight into the earth’s history is invaluable, and its myriad of powerful landscapes is inspiring, From the buttes, spires, mesasand deserts, to the plains, forests, streams, waterfalls and white water rapids, the Grand Canyon is a wonder to behold. Take a hike to one of the canyon’s viewpoints, stroll along the South Rim Trail, explore the historic El Tovar Hotel, or just sit and enjoy the extraordinary landscape that surrounds you. 

DAY 4 – Via motorcoach, today you’ll follow the South Rim out of Grand Canyon National Park, stopping to take in the magnificent vistas at the historic Desert View Tower, and visiting several other points of interest along the way.  After leaving the park you’ll visit Cameron Trading Post, a favorite stop for park explorers and well known for its Native American Art. Your journey continues as you travel north to Lake Powell, a reservoir on the Colorado River, straddling the border between Arizona & Utah. Check into a hotel near Lake Powell for the next two evenings. before embarking on a cruise to Antelope Canyon.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy the surrounding rose colored beaches, red rock cliffs and sandstone mesas as you sail through the crystal blue waters of this truly unique lake. Wind down for the day with a delicious dinner at the resort.

DAY 5 – This morning you’ll set out for a day full of adventure in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. This red sand desert region on the border of Arizona and Utah is well known for the towering rock formations made famous by the many Western movies that have been filmed there. After enjoying an included lunch, climb aboard a four-wheel vehicle and, with your Navajo guide, embark on an exhilarating tour of the Monument Valley region. Explore iconic monoliths, buttes and mesas, and soak in the incredible vista surrounding you while learning about the history of the region and the Navajo way of life. Once you’re back to the Lake Powell area for an evening at your own pace, so sit back and watch the sun set over one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the country.

DAY 6 – Enjoy the beautiful scenery this morning as you leave Lake Powell and travel into Utah to visit Bryce Canyon National Park. This sprawling reserve is known for its hundreds of spire-shaped rock formations, called hoodoos, which are the result of millions of years of wind and water freezes and thaws. As you explore this surreal landscape, take in the dazzling shades of reds, pinks and whites that fill the canyons amphitheaters, stand in awe of the towering hoodoos and natural bridges, and marvel at the centuries old bristlecone pine trees, one of the oldest species of trees in the world. Your journey through America’s Canyonlands continues as you travel south toward Zion National Park to check into your hotel in the Zion park area enjoy an included dinner with your fellow travelers as you wind down for the day.

DAY 7 – This morning you’ll visit Zion National Park, a nature preserve in southwest Utah encompassing some of the most scenic canyon country in the United States. Board a tram and set off on a scenic tour through the park! From the colorful canyons, monolithic cliffs and towering plateaus, to the emerald green pools, streams, waterfalls, and more than 400 species of animals and birds, there is something wondrous to behold around every turn. Your final adventure awaits you in the entertainment capital of the world – Las Vegas. See the bustling Las Vegas Strip and the historic Old Downtown on a guided tour of the city before enjoying an exciting, fun filled farewell dinner with your companions.  You will stay overnight in Las Vegas.

DAY 8 – Today you’ll travel to the airport for your flight home, filled with wonderful memories of your journey through America’s Canyonlands.
