This little island was settled by a wealthy Irish aristocrat who built a magnificent Palladian style mansion in 1798. The home burned to the ground, but modern architects discovered its foundation and have recreated the mansion for visitors to see. Use four legs to tour the rest of the island by horse-drawn carriage or use your own two legs and rent a bicycle.
Up the Ohio River a little ways you will find the home of the most cherished toys in many little girls' lives; Lee Middleton Original Dolls. Follow the river a bit further north and come upon more grown-up treasures. Fenton Art Glass Company is the largest manufacturer
