Two amazing destinations – Pennsylvania Dutch and Niagara Falls!
We’ll start this tour exploring the history rich Pennsylvania Dutch countryside! The rolling hills of Amish country are still home to the fertile farms of the descendents whose ancestors settled this area back in the early 1700s. The Pennsylvania Amish is the largest community of Amish in the United States and for the most part, still adhere to their beliefs of no modern technology which includes automobiles and cell phones.
Niagara Falls is the collective name for three falls: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, which are located on the border between Canada and New York. Renowned for their beauty and massive natural power, Niagara Falls is the largest waterfall in North America and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Amish Country Tour
You’ll experience traditional Amish farms, picturesque covered bridges, see quaint horse and buggies, stop at roadside stands selling everything from handmade quilts to baskets and farm fresh produce. Also on the tour is a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, bakery and smokehouse market.
Good N Plenty Dinner
Built in 1871 this two-story farmhouse opened as a restaurant in 1969 and has grown from seating 114 people to now accommodating over 600 guests. Serving traditional Amish foods family style, the menu includes homemade soups and in-season garden fresh salads. There is also a bakery on the premises serving their award-winning shoo fly pie and whoopie pies and sticky buns.
Skylon Tour Dinner
Come enjoy dinner 775 feet above the Falls. The Skylon Revolving Dining Room turns 360 degrees each hour so you can experience the dazzling city lights, the gorgeous illumination of the Falls and depending on when you visit, maybe even catch some seasonal fireworks! The cuisine is award-winning and the view spectacular!
The Niagara Falls IMAX Theatre is located in the heart of the Niagara Falls entertainment district and is home to The Falls Movie: Legends and Daredevils, the amazing Niagara Falls Daredevil Gallery, and the best collection of Niagara Falls Daredevil history ever amassed.
Journey Behind the Falls
Take the elevator that descends 150 feet through bedrock to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal. Then you’ll continue to venture deep below and behind the heart of Niagara Falls and stand in the mist where the Horseshoe Falls tumbles down 13 stories! There are both lower and upper observation decks at the foot of the Falls for even more of a closer look, feel and experience.
“Maid of the Mist” Boat Ride
This historical ride is a half hour of a thrill of a lifetime! Experience the mist and learn the history as you get up close and personal with one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A complementary souvenir raincoat is provided to every guest!
Niagara Falls City Tour
Enjoy the Niagara Parkway and see such points of interest as the Brock’s Monument, the Floral Clock, the Botanical Gardens, the Butterfly conservatory and Queenston Heights. Explore the many art galleries, antique shops, bakeries, restaurants and gift shops. The entire tour is narrated so the excursion is both fun and educational!
Canada’s largest observation wheel, the SkyWheel takes you 175 over the Niagara Fall’s skyline. From the comfort of a fully enclosed gondola, each complete with heating and air conditioning, the ride lasts approximately 10 minutes and offers spectacular view of the Niagara River, Clifton Hill, the Horseshoe and American Falls and the Niagara Park.
