Blue Ridge Mountains

While most people think of New England when picturing fall foliage, the North is not the only region in the US that boasts beautiful autumn scenery. The South has plenty of magnificent colors in the fall, and a great place to see them is in the Blue Ridge Mountains! There are several ways to explore the Blue Ridge, whether that be visiting quaint towns in Georgia, following the historic Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina and Virginia, or taking a nice, scenic hike in South Carolina.

California Coast

A drive along the California coast truly makes for the trip of a lifetime! While a pretty sight in the summer, it is truly breathtaking in the fall. See famous cities such as San Diego and Los Angeles, visit beautiful wineries and historic sites, and take in the west coast in all its glory. There’s definitely a reason why Californians believe that “the west coast is the best coast!” (You can check out an Good News Travel itinerary here.)
